Bullseye, Man. Wish I had written this; it hits the very heart of my beliefs. Biological systems are intrinsically self-regulated to make unlimited growth anathema. Hence, one might be led to conclude that we have become estranged and no longer belong to that complex systemic genre. To our ultimate self-harm, I fear.

Morality is subjective. Humans have never valued other human life. Humans have always killed other humans. With that premise, it is not wrong, or immoral, to kill other humans.

Many Humans have no humanity. In the case of Gaza, 200 plus countries have no humanity.

This is not new. There is a wiki page that lists the genocides. No one came to the aid of the people in Africa during colonialism. Or the indigenous people of the world. The Cambodians. No one helped the Rwandans. The people of Guatemala . Armenia. Darfur. China during the cultural revolution. Who is helping the people crossing the Mediterranean? The people of India or Ireland during the famines caused by the UK. No one came to the aid of African Americans in the USA, in Tulsa, in Cincinnati, in Mississippi, in Alabama….

Why would anyone expect anything different in 2025?

Has there ever been a time when other nations stopped a genocide? Maybe we can count Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Humans don’t have humanity. Working in pubic health during the holocaust, no country came to the aid of India, when millions died from the delta variant. No country sent oxygen to help. Not even wood to burn the bodied. No one came to the aid of the USA. The 1,300,000 plus, Americans who have died from Covid. No country sent hospital ships. Health care workers.

Human life doesn’t have value. Our history shows that - It is not wrong to kill, or to allow, other humans to be systematically murdered.

Indignation serves no purpose. Human beings have no humanity.
