Martin Griffiths, the UN’s under-secretary general for humanitarian affairs, is quitting because of long covid. Although if you only glanced at the headlines about this news, you wouldn’t know it. Almost all of them told us that his decision was due to ‘health reasons.’

Notice the marked uptick in worker absence due to disabilities from 2020 on. Too, notice the stronger effect on women that were formerly in the workforce.
The BBC this morning has an article about how pupil behaviour has deteriorated since the start of the pandemic. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-68674568 No link to Covid, of course but knowing the damage the virus does to the brain and the fact that pupils aren't vaccinated, it doesn't take a huge leap of the imagination to see that something isn't right here.
