Nicely articulated. Nothing positive can possibly come out of this genocide. The depravity and horror are too profound. But one welcome side effect is the full, final exposure of the centrists as the sick, amoral douchebags some of us always knew them to be. May they rot in a cell in The Hague (or, failing that, in Hell).

Your eloquent words are very moving. I want more people to read them. I started a Substack about 5 months ago—it only has 100 subscribers plus around 50 others who get it by email, but I want them to read what you have said. I guess it could be posted as a guest essay? I don’t know, haven’t done this before!

Another great piece! While I agree that liberalism is in decline I still worry that it’s not on its death bed. One of the best examples of its still beating heart is the wholesale acceptance of the Covid Pandemic being over by people across the political spectrum. You have talked about it before, but not many of my favorite radicals and anti-imperialists even discuss Covid anymore.

While it’s clear that we are in a new phase of the pandemic. Thankfully our hospitals and morgues are not over flowing, however, the danger has only shifted from a mass death event to a mass disabling one. The data continues to flow in about how Covid is causing disability. It’s damaging our brains, blood vessels, immune system, and on and on. In the U.S. Long Covid is now the leading chronic illness in children and the worst 2 years for excess deaths since 2019 in children were in 2023 & 2024. Am I profoundly disappointed by this, of course. Am I surprised, not in the least.

Liberalisms focus on capitalism and individualism explains this quite directly. The role of eugenics and its sibling ableism have taught us that people who are deemed as not contributing to the accumulation of capital are not of value. This fact, combined with the nearly complete disregard for the medical literature on Covid, shows that liberalism is still alive. It may be down, but I fear it’s not out.

Nate--thank you for responding and for allowing me to publish this essay on my Substack. I will credit you as a guest writer and include a link to your Substack. I will probably do this tomorrow or Friday. If you have a moment--please send me a short bio. I am now reading Philip Pilkington's "The Collapse of Global Liberalism" and wondering--if that happens--what will take its place. Interesting times!!

For years I’ve seen people talk about how the liberals in the US didn’t come out and vote in 2024.

It’s bizarre to me that no one acknowledges that a huge number of those people are dead from Covid because their president told them if they got vaccinated they wouldn’t get sick, then he told them to go out and spread it so it would be a winter of death for people who didn’t get vaccinated.

The libs could acknowledge that in the 6+ months trump presided over covid he killed a lot of his base with disinformation from the death cult, but then they memory hole the 3 years Biden told everyone to ditch the masks because only us useless eaters would die.

Then they get all shocked Pikachu face when a whole bunch of Biden voters were too dead to go out there and vote in 2024.

Furthermore they told us to “vote blue no matter who”, then they threw up their hands and said @we can’t get anything done because of Democrats like Manchin or Sinema!”, republicans who put a D next to their name because they knew dems would vote for anyone sporting the big D.

If anyone stayed home in 2024 it was because they didn’t want to vote for more genocide, in Gaza or here in the US. But most of those people died. My dad lived in Arkansas and he had one of the only two Biden yard signs in his county in 2020. He died in 2022 when he got sick and there was no room at his local hospital for him. They gave him steroids and sent him home where he died at his kitchen table next to a home Covid test he had taken before going to the ER, two weeks after his 3rd or 4th booster.

Vax and relax killed my dad. Otherwise he would have been here to vote for Kamala in 2024. Human lives didn’t matter to the lesser evil president, only profits and airline CEOs. That’s why people didn’t vote for Kamala in 2024. They were dead. (And I just wanted to add that I voted for her because I was really excited to have a black woman president. I seriously underestimated the misogyny and racism I guess.)

One turns to the NY Times and its archives for a true-to-life registration of what late 20th and 21st Century Neoliberism looked[s] like. Beginning with that organization having never met a US war it wasn't gung ho about; and culminating in the present with its absurd passive voice "this was done to", "was perpetrated upon" stories about Zionism and Palestine. As the empire goes down, the Times will preserve the history of neoliberalism's foul contributions for posterity.

The Israeli government has even violated the Balfour Agreement which I published here:

http://www.truedemocracy.net/td-18/28b.html

The liberals aren't the only evils as my research shows which I adapted for popular consumption at http://www.truedemocracy.net/w01/3.html where in the third section, of three, you'll see names you instantly recognize from both parties, and it's no different in other countries, because the globalists control the whole world, and they want to win, not lose. They want us to lose.

"The September deadline set by France, the UK, Australia and Canada for Israel to stop its genocide and commit to a two-state solution is fast approaching. And looming alongside this deadline is a final crisis of legitimacy for western liberalism."

France, the uk, australia and canada have no priority other than The War On Russia. The reason they are talking about Palestine at all is because they have no hope of fighting Russia on their own, and this is one of the few pressure points they have over the United States.

The article maintains a remarkably high standard of blog. I was in discussions with an Armenian @ the weekend - who knows a bit about genocide. Our view is that the very nature of judaism coupled to a jewish state (& the "othering" of non-jews in it) predicated at some point a genocide. Obviously, if larger countries (& the liberalis in them) had said no - it would not have happened (although doubtless the apartheid state would have continued). But the problem is that most of the states mentioned are heavily influenced by zionists (the UK is a "good" example - an oblast of Israel) so of course this faciliated what is now infront of our eyes. The genocide also highlights the utter helplessness of citizens - I'd hazard a guess but most of them don't support any sort of mass murder (Gaza, Cambodia, Iraq (x2) on and on it goes). But citizens don't have a voice - it is time they did. As for Israel, the USA is heading for some sort of collapse - once it does & the weapon supplies dry up - Israeli-jews will discover what their neighbours think of them. I agree with the final summing up: this is going to be a fight to the finish between humans and proto-fascists/Nazis.

Good article today. That said the answer at the end is too vague. Everyone horrified by genocide and the Western Oligarchs gleefully carrying it out must reject all official politics and develop their own militant association. In this orwellian nightmare that would point to originizational methods like those of Hamas, but on a global scale. Clearly a military wing of such an organization will be needed as well.
