I have thoughts that thankfully Nate Bear expresses better than me!

I've lost some old friends over the ongoing Gaza genocide. Actually, not some, I no longer speak with any of my childhood friends.

The Warsaw ghetto of WWII is not an historical abstraction, it has relocated to Gaza and the West Bank. The identity of the current protagonists in human misery is beyond ironic.

Getting a party that addresses real needs of its members in the U.S. is going to take awhile. The duopoly lock on ballot line access is going to be a tough nut to crack. What can give us a boost would be a successful campaign to unionize WalMart and Amazon.

I’ve long thought it reenactment of trauma like since the mid 90’s personally. But it’s also worse than that and with an elaborate plan that goes back over 100 years, with historical antecedents that stretch 350 years plus.

I agree the author did a good job tearing into the liberal idiot, idealism of progressivism that has run roughshod over American culture since before the beginning of the 20th century.

We’re up against a Grand Theft Global, induced and emergent. Might be the first time in all known and hidden history we finally walk off the plantation

Thank you for putting to paper what so many of us are feeling. It was sickening to watch the outrage over those 15 minutes when there has been close to silence on the months of genocide. Thank you Nate. I thought I was losing my mind yesterday watching the reaction.

I think they’re outraged because they’re embarrassed, because the president is embarrassing.

We can’t be white saviors if we’re being mean and withholding aid. And what even is the US if it can’t play white savior to the rest of the world?

Think also about the silence on Covid and how it is still killing and disabling millions of people worldwide, yet we won't even put on a damn mask to prevent infections. We won't even dare say the word "mask" because people need a fainting couch. Our little nation of sociopaths go out every day and kill innocent people with Covid and they know it kills but don't care. They can't be arsed to do the right thing, ever. It's always about personal convenience, pleasure and comforts. It's never about anything else. That's where "masks don't work" comes from -- pure ignorance and pride and ego, and a lack of mercy and compassion. It's sociopathy, which is what most Americans hold dear. It is the money they seek. Life means nothing to most Americans, but talk about their wealth and you've got their ear and everything else.

My leftist eyes have been opening more and more everyday. You’re 100% right; it’s all just hypocrisy, placation, double talk, and bullshit, with a moral core turned rotten. Not to mention downright cowardly. Thank you for putting these rageful feelings into words for us, as only you can do.

If you're a leftist and don't wear an N95 respirator to protect yourself and everyone else from Covid, you're just another sociopath at the end of the day. Thinking "it won't happen to me" kind of stuff. Imaginings and never looking at the science while pretending to care about the people STILL dying every day from Covid. There's so much suffering happening with people with Long Covid but we can't ask anyone to mask because that's TOO MUCH TO ASK. My God what are we all.

Yup. Leftist long COVID sufferer here who masks. But I’m done asking or expecting others too. I’m not spending my limited energy on that anymore. I wrote a post about this a few months ago.

I don't bother asking anymore unless it's an ENT/dentist/medical professional who has to examine me without my mask. And even then it's just pushback because of that ridiculous nonsense paper, Cochrane Report, which they ALLLLLL reference without having read all 327 pages of it. I have been going through that thing and over and over it says "adherence was low" and stuff like that, just shooting themselves in the foot on the data, making it worthless, but doctors only listen to the headlines. one cardiologist tried to pull a Cochrane on me and I wasn't having it!

This is America. None of this is new behavior for America. The only difference now is that people have access to the information of what is happening.

-Wilson hung pacifists upside down until they died.

-Rockfeller burnt women and children alive in the Colorado mines.

-Lincoln approved the largest number of people murdered by hanging at one time. 38 Dakota Sioux in Mankato, Mn.

-Roosevelt sent Jewish refugees back to Europe during WW2

-The US Military in WW2 used young men as cannon fodder in the Pacific and never recovered their bodies

-Black Americans once “freed” were murdered, had their property burnt, stolen, etc. and nothing was done, and still isn’t done.

-Native Americans do not have running water, electricity or internet and when they attempted to keep people off of their land during covid, the us government overrode them.

I really don’t understand why people are disappointed. This is America.

White Americans need to talk to Native Americans and Black Americans- we know that what we are living now is what America is and has always been and will continue to be.

Great stuff. Except for one thing - you draw the wrong conclusions. You get nowhere if, when you fail once or twice, you quit. It's plain as day that the way to progressive power it to take over the Democrat Party. Bernie almost did twice. AOC could the next time. And that's exactly what Trump did to the Republican Party. The progressives just missed on their side. They need to succeed. No need to have no idea of the way forward when it continues to stare us directly in the face.

It's all populism now, and has been since Occupy Wall Street and Bernie who built from that and the "Squad" and the closely related who built from Bernie. It's progressive populism versus fake/right-wing/pseudo populism, and it's clear the way to win. In fact, it keeps proving difficult to stop. And not only here in the US.

Also: great title. Fucking Liberals Indeed. Almost as bad as the Cons. Establishment liberalism is monstrous, despite sometimes tossing the people a few human rights bandages as PR. It's all genocide and ecocide and profiteering for the death cult Libs.

Bernie is barely to the left of Genghis Khan in a variety of military ways (terrible on Venezuela too), but he and the "Squad" are the best there is currently with viable national electoral power. They are at least an order of magnitude better than establishment Libs and Con, and if you want to capture power and save lives, and possibly the entire planet, the road runs through them for the time being - as far as anyone can know. If the entire planet goes to full-on climate collapse, then exactly none of the social justice issues matter because everyone is dead.

A liberal isn't a leftist liberal if they're not masking with N95 to protect people from Covid, which is still killing and disabling millions of people every week. All of the leftist platitudes and bleedy hearts mean nothing if they're not taking personal responsibility for not spreading Covid around because your infection can kill another person (and yourself as well). That's murder. Knowing you can kill someone and spreading it anyway. It's murder. So shut up liberals about everything that's happening in the Middle East until you start caring about the people who live right in front of you. DO SOMETHING. But no, they pretend Covid can't possibly hurt them, they live in a fantasy, and they refuse the call. They refuse to fight. Weak and cowardly, can't even wear a mask unless it's at a protest. So they are saying fuck you to their vulnerable and compromised neighbors but pretend to care about Palestine. Charity starts at home.

It became very clear at a point in 2020 when we started to hear business owners screech about how masking was somehow terrorizing them and putting them out of business that the American people only care about money and not life itself. People refuse to wear masks or respirators, or to bother to find out how to wear them correctly. It may seem simple to go back to 2020 and say, "Observe what they were screaming about", but it was simple. It was the unveiling of the amount of sociopaths that actually make up the population of this country. And that number is staggering.

I don't expect people who are all out worshipping a golden calf and who always put money and possessions and "wealth" above life to give a crap about life anywhere whether it is in the Middle East or next door to them.

We are a nation of sociopaths. We couldn't do the slightest thing to save over 1 million of our own people from Covid. We couldn't be *bothered* or even slightly inconvenienced. How on earth can you expect anything from anyone here, liberal or otherwise? Even the bleediest of bleeding hearts wouldn't put on a damn mask to save a life.

Liberals have convinced people that the left are “far left extremist anarchists who want to burn it all to the ground like some kind of Mad Max fantasy”.

And I owe Rose Twitter all kinds of apologies because I fell for it and until after the 2020 election. But I get why they are afraid of the far left, especially after I realized that some of my favorite new house bills in New Hampshire that are sponsored by a young progressive woman are also sponsored by an older libertarian man. I looked at the rest of his stuff and I’m not a fan of most of it, but he joins forces with her a lot on the stuff I really like and it freaked me out a little to realize that I’m so far left some of the “liberty republicans” agree with my views.

So I understand why it freaks out the liberals, they don’t want left and right uniting against the corporate parties so they have to demonize us.

In 2016 I saw a man-in-the-street interview with a black man who said he was voting for Trump. When asked why, he said: "Because things have to hit rock bottom before they will get better."

I don't know what the answer is moving forward, but I still think about that guy.
