After weeks of attacks by Iraqi resistance groups, the US and NATO yesterday began evacuating all of their military personnel from Victoria Base in Baghdad.
Great article, Nate. It's critical to draw these lessons at every phase of zio Imperialism's rapid decline.
"What worked in the end?
Violence. Armed resistance. Speaking the language of imperialists and colonisers back to them."
For the millions of wage slaves whose countries have been usurped by Zio Imperialism and would like all Zio Imperialists removed from power, one wonders what is to be done?
Unfortunately, the methods employed by Iraqi militias need to invoked here. We need to evict billionaires and the infrastructure that is fouling the environment like yesterday.
We as people should take this resistance to ordained madness as a template.
"And since the US-Israeli sneak attack on Iran last month, Iran and Iraqi resistance groups backed by Iran, have been pounding Victoria Base, a sprawling, city-like complex on the outskirts of Baghdad. The attacks, via drones, missiles, and small arms, have resulted in a significant number of serious injuries, prompting the US over the weekend to request a 24-hour ceasefire so they could evacuate the remaining troop presence."
I hate that people are dying. I hate that US soldiers are dying. (I have very little against the individual soldiers, most of whom signed up simply because they desperately needed the money.) But I think it's pretty damned telling when I, a US citizen, am fucking HAPPY that we're losing any military conflict. (Honestly, right now, I hope we lose any and all military conflicts unless they involve us being actually invaded. We need to get the fuck out of everybody else's business. And our clown-in-chief needs to get out of OUR business, too and start obeying his own damned constitution.)
1. The US retains control of Iraqi oil revenues. Since this is basically the only source of income to the Iraqi government, the United States remains in practical control over any Iraqi government.
2. Trump is simply trying to jawbone markets. There is. however, no deal he can reach with Iran that would satisfy Israel.
When Iraq voted to expel forces, the US threatened to cut Iraq's access to oil revenues because hard power troop presence is so important to back up their leverage. So Iraq backed down. But now it's done. It's not nothing. It's a significant victory without precedence.
“…bullying.” That’s what the Soviet Union considered the United States to be too causing the Soviet Union to put missiles in Cuba when President Kennedy was in the White House. But Kennedy was not like Trump. He and his brother Bobby negotiated with Khrushchev (Read Bobby Kennedy’s book entitled 13 Days, a small book that details what the two men did regarding the Cuban missile crisis) causing the missiles being removed from Cuba to obtain peace instead of WWIII which is what will happen if we don’t stop it.
I have the way to do that in my first edition that has been available now for 25 years. But hardly anyone does what I suggested in the page that makes my work unique, the boycott of America for products and tourism by people around the world, and that is why this war against Iran has begun now exactly 1 month ago today.
I have a friend who lives in Iran who has written me Emails fairly recently. I would hate to see him lose his life in just another war that has begun because of a lie by the leadership of the USA.
As usual, a very fine post with which I agree 100%. It is the age old law (1st defined by Machievelli) "the is no equality between the armed and the unarmed". If Iraq & Iran are able to cooperate (& there is no reason why not), I predict the USA and Israel will try to use the Kurds to destabilise. There could be a couple of work-arounds to this - federal states/local power etc. The other problem is the nuclear one, I suspect that Israel would like to "test" one of its nukes on Iran - e.g. a drone storage site or some such. It is quite possible that Russia would follow suit in Ukraine &....Very dangerous times with multiple rogue powers. The UN has lost all meaning, it no longer has any point, any power. Lastly, there is one peaceful way to bring Israel to heel: if the EU closes all embassies, expells all Israeli diplomats and citizens, closes all Israeli companies with operations in the EU and seals its border wrt to Israel & its citizens. Then & only then would you see Israel crawl. It is within the EU's "gift" to force all the jewish "settlers" out of the West Bank and Israel out of Lebanon. Won't happen, the EU is filled to the rafters with zionist. Sad.

Thanks for reporting on this.
No idea...

The USA terrorists retreat, tails between their legs.

As long as the money is and flows into US accounts, it doesn't matter. Believe me, I'd love to be wrong.
Will not continued Iraqi resistance lead to Iraqi control of the oil and the revenue?
Obviously, I'm clueless as to that situation.
No, the money will still be paid to the US, which also hold the Iraqi puppet regime's reserves.
If you can indulge me another question or two.
Does that mean US forces still occupy the oil producing areas?
Can the Iraqi’s get to the point they control those areas and how the oil is sold and how the payments are made?
1. Not as far as I know.
2. I do not know.

Excellent article - The Truth - I completely agree.
